Immediate attention: In general family history and symptoms that do not relieve themselves as well as other heart related conditions make us docs worry about chest pain as emergencies. If it has been there for weeks and is relieved by rest then please see a physician as soon as you can but if it comes and goes many times in a day and does not relieve after 5 minutes please seek immediate medical attention.

Chest pain: A 28 year old unlikely to have hear problems as a cause of chest pain, most probably it may be costochondritis inflammation of the cartilage and rib junction. However get checked by your doctor.
