Training: A cna-certified nursing assistant-has completed a training course and passed an exam. Skills include vital signs, helping patients with personal hygiene, etc. A live in caregiver may or may not be a cna. To the best of my knowledge, anyone can be a live in caregiver. In any case, be sure that they can pass a background check, have good references, especially if unsupervised with disabled/elderly.
