If have chronic type: There r certain medications that may be very helpful to prevent migraine; if ha occurs 10-15 / month, its chronic. Beta-blockers (eg propranolol), calcium channel blocker (eg verapamil), tricyclics (amitriptylline), nsaid's (naproxen) may work. Avoid triggers ( wines, aged cheeses, loud noise, some weathers, uri's, fatigue, stressful confrontations) may all help prevent. Force a smile, again, agai.
