3-4 days: A single cigarette will give a positive urine cotinine for 1-2 days, regular smokers generally 3-4 and rarely 5 days, and blood tests can detect it for about the same time. Oral swabs may detect if for a bit longer, up to 7-10 days, and it can be found in hair drug testing for months, depending on the length of hair chosen.

3-4 days: generally no more than 2-3 days, on rare occasions in some people at much as 5 days. Depends on how much you smoke and the amount of nicotine in each cigarette, and how deeply you inhale and hold it in, among many other variables. The occasional smoker may only be positive for a day or less. Depends also on what kind of test they are using and its level of sensitivity in detecting cotinine.

No: If you are not using nicotine in the heating chamber, and you haven't smoked tobacco in the last week, your test should be negative. I would point out that the safety of the propellant in these e-cigs (propylene glycol), as well as flavorings and additives, have never been subjected to study, and we simply do not know their long-term safety/dangers.They are likely safer than smoking tobacco though

Depends on how much: U smoke or use tobacco or nicotine replacement & how fast you metabolize cotinine, a tobacco breakdown product. In large studies Cotinine levels are hier in African Americans than in Caucasians, and hier in men. The best way to eliminate cotinine from ur urine & stay healthy? Quit smoking! Not smoke!!: If you are asking how to "beat" the test, it would be unethical for any physician to give you advice on that. The way to pass ANY drug test is to NOT use that drug. Moreover, it is far more important to actually stop using tobacco products because they remain the number one preventible cause of death in the western world (and increasingly in developing nations). Stop BEFORE cancer, heart disease.
