A member asked:

How long is nicotine in urine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

3-4 days: generally no more than 2-3 days, on rare occasions in some people at much as 5 days. Depends on how much you smoke and the amount of nicotine in each cigarette, and how deeply you inhale and hold it in, among many other variables. The occasional smoker may only be positive for a day or less. Depends also on what kind of test they are using and its level of sensitivity in detecting cotinine.
