Like MD +adjustments: Most osteopaths practice conventional allopathic (western) medicine, so will influence health the same way an md might. A subset also practice osteopathic manipulation, a subtle form of bodywork that can be very helpful for musculoskeletal problems.I wish more osteopaths did osteopathy! to find an osteopath that specializes in classical osteopathic manipulation see http://www.Academyofosteopathy.Org.
