Hunger can b trigger: There r certain medications that may be very helpful to prevent migraine; if ha occurs 10-15 / month, its chronic. Beta-blockers (eg propranolol), calcium channel blocker (eg verapamil), tricyclics (amitriptylline), nsaid's (naproxen) may work. Avoid triggers (hunger, wine, aged cheeses, loud noise, some weathers, uri's, fatigue, stressful confrontations) may all help prevent. Force a smile-:).
