Almost nothing: "sroke screening" refers to checking arteries in the neck for blockages, usually by an ultrasound, on people who have not had any symptoms of a stroke (e.g., sudden weakness, slurred speech, vision problems). Screening is not recommended by the us preventive services taskforce because it prevents few strokes and can lead to follow up tests and treatments which can actually cause strokes.
