Low blood pressure: A brief sensation of lightheadedness or a faint feeling is most often due to low blood pressure, or to lowering of blood pressure with standing up. If it happens after standing up, before standing from lying down sit for a moment, and if it happens when standing from sitting, clench your calves before you stand. Always drink plenty of water.
