What is the average stay in intensive care?

It depends on condit: There is no average ICU length of stay, as it is dependant on the reason for the admission to icu.Icu admissions are mixed bag.There are post surgical admissions after major surgery, various medical conditions ranging from diabetic ketoacidosis, repiratory failiure on ventilater, multisystem failures, dehydration, multiple trauma, sepsis with shock and fall in BP etc. So the stay can be 1day to i month.
