What happens if impacted wisdom tooth is not pulled?

Many possibilities: An impacted third molar (wisdom tooth ) not removed can cause several problems..An example would be that the wisdom tooth could cause pressure on the teeth in front of it causing resulting pain, the third molar can also, cause your teeth to be forced forward with the result of your anterior teeth forced out of their correct position, finally, a cyst or tumor can form around the third molar as well.

Depends: Sometimes nothing. However, a cyst can develop around it, so monitoring it every few years with a radiograph (x-ray) is advisable.
