Not at All: Rollercoastering blood sugars make patients feel lousy. If a patient has a high blood sugar, the goal would be to bring the blood sugar down to as normal as possible, but avoid lows. If patients have a low blood sugar, the goal is to treat it without overtreating it to the point of a high blood sugar.
