Short answer is yes: Pots is postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. People with this get a rapid heart rate when they stand up, and have difficulty doing exercise and other activities. Neurocardogenic syncope is the "fancy"name for a classic faint. People who do this may have no other symptoms at many other times, but occasionally with provocation will faint.
