Asthma: There are plenty of good treatments for asthma . Asthma is due to inflammation of the airways so treatment needs to be based on prevention of that. It is divided into rescue and maintainance medications. She should she her doctor for a treatment program.

Don't go 19th centur: Asthma is a very significant disease with potential acute mortality and marked chronic morbidity. We have multiple e effective and reasonably safe medications that can well and chronically control asthma in most children and adults. Additionally in allergic asthmatics immunotherapy (allergy injections) and/or Omalizumab can be very effective. Don't go back to the 19th century.
