Don't go 19th centur: Asthma is a very significant disease with potential acute mortality and marked chronic morbidity. We have multiple e effective and reasonably safe medications that can well and chronically control asthma in most children and adults. Additionally in allergic asthmatics immunotherapy (allergy injections) and/or Omalizumab can be very effective. Don't go back to the 19th century.
