What's the difference between panic and anxiety attacks?

Panic attacks are: Sudden, intense, usually brief anxiety attacks. They may be mistaken for a heart attack or other life-threatening condition. If they reoccur unpredictably, they can be classified as panic disorder. If a person avoids certain types of places associated with an attack, it is called agoraphobia. Anxiety can also be milder, more predictable or more general, including chronic worry.

They're the same: Just different names for the same thing. The american psychiatric association calls them panic attacks. Panic disorder is when one has at least one panic attack per week for at least four weeks.
