A member asked:

What does having severe anemia mean in terms of physical health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually fatigue: Anemia means that your oxygen carrying capacity is lowered, which leads to general feelings of fatigue, malaise and lack of energy. It often also means you don't fight off disease as well (lowers your immune system). So, overall, you are dimished in capacity.
