?Polycystic Ovaries: One possibility is polycystic ovaries (pcos) hyperandrogenemia is present in 60% to 80% of women with pcos: 70% have elevated free testosterone, 40% have elevated total testosterone, 25% have elevated dheas. Check with gyn or endocrinologist.

PCOS, adrenal tumor: High levels of DHEA and DHEAs are commonly seen in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Extremely high levels are seen in adrenal tumors. Imaging should provide a diagnosis.
