There is None: Although omega -3s may have beneficial effects on child health, I am not aware of any studies consistantly demonstrating efficacy, safety or dose for any of the proposed effects.

420 - 500 mg/day: Consider reading "the omega-3 effect" by william and james sears. Excellent, short, easy to read book that goes into all of the benefits of omega-3's. They recommend: children 2-3yrs: 420 mg per day. Children 3yrs and up: 500 mg per day.
