No: "whitening" mouth washes will not damage your teeth. Many people have tissue sensitivity to these rinses. Personally, I have not found any of these rinses to have any effect on the color of your teeth. I'd suggest you don't waste your money on these products.

No, but doesn't work: Tooth whitening is dependant upon 2 things, first, the concentration of the bleaching agent, and second, the duration of exposure to the tooth. Whitening mouth wash has neither of these things. It's too weak and too quick. It won't hurt your teeth, but sorry, it won't whiten them either. See your dentist to determine which type of professional whitening process would be best for you.

NO!: Professionally produced mouth rinses should not harm the teeth. My concern is that you spend funds on these rinses when you would be better of to consult with your dentist and get the low down on what really needs to be done to make your teeth look attractive. If you want a pretty smile let your dentist help you properly.

Bluntly, a waste of time and money. Then why is it a marketable product. Because gullible people believe advertising hype? Want whiter teeth? See your Dentist. Don't throw your money away.
