A member asked:

If i've quit smoking cigarettes using nicontine replacment what methods, what can i use now to get off that ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Taper: The idea behind nicotine replacement is that it "might" help you to stop smoking which is a good thing in and of itself. You then have to slowly taper off the nicotine replacement products which is sometimes a slow process. A doctor might be able to help as some prescription drugs like Clonidine have been shown to help a variety of addictive processes. A challenge for sure.
