Unclear: If you have anemia (low blood count) that is not explained by bleeding into your stomach, a hematologist may be able to help with evaluation. It's not clear from the description of your problem that a hematologist will be helpful or needed.

Maybe no need to see: Esld is serious and a gastroenterolist is often more comfortable managing it than a hematologist. Your anemia is from blood loss and liver disease, not hematoligic causes. As a result, seeing a hematologist won't hurt, but not likely to benefit you much. If anemia if severe/bleeding in excess, transfusion can be ordered/done by gastroenterologist just as well. Consult your doc. Good luck.
