Depends on the size : And how it looks whether it is just fluid filled, solid , septated etc and the size and if there is additional pelvic fluid seen and blood work can be done to help r/o or rule in the possibility of cancer you need to discuss all of this with your gyn since you most likely already had the ultrasound to diagnose a cyst.
