What should i feel when looking for a lost tampon?

The tampon itself: If you think you have a tampon in but the string is not outside of the vagina, you can feel for the string or the tampon itself inside the vagina. If you are still having trouble, see your gyn; the doc can remove it in the office. A tampon cannot go into the uterus or higher in the body.

The tampon: Put your finger into the vagina and feel al around it. When you feel the string pull it out. If you do not find it see your gyn.
