Variable: It is very variable from weeks to months or even years. It is worse in people with high arches and those who wear poor shoes and those who go bear foot. Anti-inflamatories, ice, stretches, arch supports, never going bear foot are some of the things that help.

Chronic problem: Plantar fascitis is a chronic issue trending to flair up off and on . Usually takes weeks to months to calm down. There is a need to supplement the underlying hyperpronation and flat arch with custom orthosis and also compliant use of nightsplints.

Unpredictable.: Best thing to do is treat it as soon as one gets it. The more time that passes the worse the condition and the harder it is to treat.
