Osteopathic Doctor: An osteopathic doctor (do) brings a different perspective than md's, who usually rely on xrays, mri's, meds & injections. A do well-trained in hands-on diagnosis & manipulation might find things often overlooked by other drs. In addition, he/she is well-suited to treating what is found with methods that are well-proven, but usually unavailable to most md's.Consider find such a do in your area.

Need to see spine md: Have you done pt or have a weight issue or strong family history of back issues? Do you exercise and is your core strong? If ok on these, then need to see a spine specialist.

See Spine Specialist: If after all you are doing you are still in pain, you should consider seeing a fellowship trained spine specialist who would need to evaluate if your care was done correctly and who may be open to the idea of other options such as prolotherapy, stem cell therapies and maybe even targeted/specialised physical therapy. Many times these newer treatments are not covered under insurance so be prepared.
