A member asked:

Will it be hard for a 20 month old to digest eating oatmeal and applesauce at 8pm (before bedtime)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cereal before bedtim: Giving cereal before bedtime ie a bit unusual. Typically the child should be given the heavy meals earlier in the evening and perhaps be given a cup of warm milk, which is rich in phenylalanine before bed-time, provided that you brush his teeth. Phenylalanine, one the milk's ingredients and an Amino Acid makes the children, and adults sleep better.
