No: There are many terms - functional integrative medicine, holistic medicine and natural medicine all used to mention non prescription, minerals, vitamins used in addition to medical management.

Some differences...: There are some differences in the terms. Holistic medicine generally means a philosophy of addressing not only the physical body but also mind and spirit. Integrative medicine is a term generally adopted by conventionally trained physicians to mean combining (or integrating) the best that western medicine has to offer with other traditions, such as chiropractic, massage, nutrition, etc...

Not really: It is saying the same thing looked at from different angles. Holistic- meaning treating the patient as a whole. To do that you need to address multiple aspects -environmental-nutrition, exercise, social interaction, psychological issues, physical ailments..... Integrative medicine-combining different modalities (approaches) in healing the individual- medication, nutrition, acupuncture, execise, ..
