PNET tumors: This is a family of uncommon tumors that can occur in several areas. They can occur in the neck, chest, peripheral area, and nervous systmethey tend to occur in young patients but not exclusively. They are also in the ewing family of tumors. These are aggressive tumors that are treated with good success when localized. When metastatic the prognosis is poor.
