What can i expect after kidney removal surgery?

See below: After removal of one kidney, the other kidney manages to continue working at roughly half the total rate, and over time if it was healthy to begin with may take over extra 15-20% function.

Depends on function: of removed kidney before it was removed. i.e. there would be no loss of function if removed kidney was non-functional, loss of function would be proportional to relative function before removal. Will feel much better if U had pain from kidney removed due to abscess, painful hydronephrosis or kidney stones with minimal function on affected side.
