Tapeworm: From undercooked or raw pork, beef or fish. Stool exam can detect larvae & eggs. If you have them, you would experience diarrhea, vague abdominal cramps, distentions, flatulance & nausea. Prevention is cooking meat or fish well, and treatment is with Praziquantel drug or surgery to remove the head of the worm or the cysts.
