Poor circulation: Most likely the cause of your cramping is decreased arterial circulation or blood flow, with the other being poor venous return of the blood back up to the heart. Consult your doctor or podiatrist for a workup of this condition and possible medicines.

Can be many things: The first consideration would be poor blood circulation, could be low potassium, could be poor foot support. Seea podiatrist for evaluation.

Few possibilities: If on a diuretic could need potassium supplement, may have magnesium deficiency, might be dehydration, can be caused by anti cholesterol medications, might be claudication if gets cramping after walking certain amount of blocks......Consider those.
