What are cheetah legs? who can get them?

Interesting: I thought this was interesting so looked it up. Cheetah legs refer to a type of artifical limb created by an american inventor, also an amputee. Obviously, to get them would require a person to have an amputation. Do we have any prosthetics experts on healthtap who can take this anwer further. Real interesting to learn about.

Running legs: These are carbon fiber prosthetics designed to run. They are called cheetah legs as the inspiration for them came from observing the animal. They were used by oscar pistorius during the 2012 olympics when he competed representing south africa.
