Yes: Blood clots can occur at any age due to many reasons. Surgery, not moving around much after surgery, and birth control (especially if you are a smoker) increase the chances of a clot. Symptoms can include swelling, pain, heat and redness. Blood clots can be dangerous so you must seek evaluation immediately if you are having any of these symptoms.
