My 12 year old is growing her adult teeth behind some baby teeth?

Crowding: Usually when permanent teeth erupt behind the baby teeth, it is due to not enough space for the tooth to erupt into the mouth. Should be evaluated by a dentist or orthodontist.

Get them out.: If the perm teeth are visible at the same time as the baby teeth that the perm teeth are replacing then you need to have the baby teeth removed asap to allow perm teeth to come in, hopefully to their proper position. Delay can lead to deflections of perm teeth and increased need for braces.
