Possible miscarriage: Any bleeding during the first trimester should be investigated with an exam and an ultrasound. It may just be implantation bleeding, but it could also be a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. If you are rh negative you may need rhogam, so please see your obgyn for a full evaluation.

What did your OB say: Any problems like this need to be directed to your OB and if u have not gone for care i would do that asap, spotting can be from the cervix , or form inside the uterus u could be trying to miscarriage or u could have a small blood clot behind the placenta called a retroplacental hematoma that usually resolves, if u are spotting then no intercourse and see your OB for an exam and ultraosund.
