Lymph node: If your doctor feels the lymph node is benign it may go away slowly in time. If there is a question that there may be a malignancy (doubtful), it will need biopsy. But this has nothing to do with your social situation. Sounds as if you might benefit from some psychological counselling. Hope things are better soon.
