Im 16 weeks pregnant and the ob can't find my baby heartbeat should i be worried?

Big time: The heartbeat is easily detected at 16 weeks gestation. Demand immediate answers as to why it's not found or seek care elsewhere. This is extremely disturbing... I wish you the best.

Worry doesn't help!: How is the OB looking? With a stethoscope? Sometimes the fetal position can make hearing the heart difficult. So can your body habitus. Can you feel the fetus moving? Has anything changed? If there is any question, you can be sent for an ultrasound which will answer the question as to whether or not the fetus still has a heartbeat.
