nasty bug: Nasty bug translates into "nothing that needs antibiotics" as an initial dx. Often they run their course in a few days & commonly enter thru the nose/mouth & interfere with appetite & eating.If the kid is taking fluids well enough to wet every 6hr & playful for much of the day, you can give it another day or so.If fluid intake is poor & you get a bad feeling about what's happening get a recheck.
