Genetic specialist: Ehlers danlos is a genetic problem with collagen, something that affects skin, joints, internal organs, the eyes. There are several forms. A geneticist (genetic specialist) can sort out whether you have it, the type, and the treatment that may be recommended. Depending on the type you may need a cardiologist, orthopedist, ophthalmologist. Many folks will still have normal life span.
