Yes: Photophobia is defined simply as fear or intolerance to light. There is pain when opening eyes. Symptoms of allergic disease include headaches triggered by sinusitis, that might come with photophobia. Also allergic inflammation, swelling, of the eye might also cause discomfort when eyes are open into bright light.
