See below : This operation in performed thru the front portion of the neck from either the right or left side. With dissection the anterior or front of the selected vertebrae. The disc is identified & with the use special instruments the disc & any bone spurs are removed. Either a cage or bone strut is inserted. A plate & screws may or may not be used to further stabilize the segment. Home within 24 hours.
