Yes but only if . . : Take (multiple) antibiotics exactly as directed for as long as recommended. If an abscess has developed, drainage may be required. At the very least, it would be very helpful to determine if someone has run of the mill tb, multiple drug resistant (mdr) TB or extremely drug resistant (xdr) tb. An infectious disease (id) specialist should be involved in care along w/public health, too.
