A member asked:

What are some of the symptoms of brain tuberculosis? what tests are used to confirm it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be severe: If a solitary tuberculoma, might act like a local tumor and compress local tissue, and cause stroke like weakness and imbalance. But the big issue is if the lesion ruptures and causes TBC meningitis which causes fever, stiff neck, coma, dilated pupils and high mortality. MRI and lumbar puncture seem best tools to diagnose.
