Has positive thinking been shown to slow down the progress of cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to Prove but...: ...Easy to believe in. There is certainly indirect evidence to support this since we know that one's attitudes can affect one's immune function, and our immune response to cancer can affect outcome. If you're looking for scientific verification, i would take the opposite approach: unless someone proves that it doesn't, assume that it does.
