Probably normal...: Most likely your situation is a normal variant of the vastly wide range of normal anatomies for the human kidney. While hydronephrosis indicates an abnormally "swollen kidney", you specifically state that is not your case. The words "pelvis" and "calyces" are normal anatomical terms used to describe specific areas of the kidney--neither term inherently suggesting any abnormality. So you can relax!
