Is there any way to get permanent relief from asthma?

No: At the this time, with our present medical knowledge, there is no permanent cure for asthma. Asthma is an atopic disease where hypersensitivity develops in the lungs and can be triggered by many things. Treatment can be temporary or life-long and there is no way to predict whether someone will improve to where meds are not needed.

No...: Asthma is not curable. Treatments are available that control symptoms and some patients experience long, symptom-free intervals but there is no cure. See your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
