A member asked:

If you get an organ transplant, can you get phantom pains from the lack of the old organ?

Interesting Question: I have never heard a patient express pain from missing a kidney, liver, heart, pancreas, or lung. However, any time there is a surgical procedure done in an area of the body, there may be some lingering pains from inflammation at the surgical site.
