Combination: It takes a combination treatment. Sometimes anti-inflammatories. Sometimes hormonal pills in various combinations. Sometimes longer acting injectable medicines. And at time may require the combination of medical and surgical treatment. The key is to see a specialists and develop a plan and be willing to alter course when the endometriosis changes.

Many ways: Chronic pain of endometriosis can be treated with anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, aleve) and narcotics. Hormonal medications such as oral contraceptives and Lupron (leuprolide) help long term. Yoga and exercises are very helpful. Finally, surgical excision of endometriosis may reduce pain
