No.: Not all breast masses are tumors, infact most are not. But a breast lump cannot be left alone. It has to be evaluated and removed, one way or another. See you doctor!

No, but...: It means you really need to see a doctor! your doctor may order an ultrasound to see the lump. If you have a large lump that you can feel, and if it wasn't there before, the only way to know for sure it isn't cancer is to have it biopsied. Please don't let fear of cancer make you wait. It's probably a big cyst, but if it is cancer, the earlier you catch it, the better! take care of yourself!

Not necessarily: A lump in the breast does not necessarily mean cancer. The risk at your age is very low. However, it would be good idea to see a doctor for an examination to determine if a mammogram or needle biopsy may be warranted.

Unlikely but need: To be checked by your doctor , cancer of breast is rare at age of 28 , after examination your doctor will order sonogram and determine the plan of treatment , most likely you have benign fibroadenoma , get this done as zoos as possible

Go to Dr.: You need to see your family doctor and or your gyn dr. You should have an exam by them, and get a diagnostic mammogram, which includes the mammogram as well as a diagnostic ultrasound. Best wishes to you.
