Are there any kinds of insulin that can be given intravenously?

Only in hospital: Intravenous Insulin works immediately and needs close-monitoring and so only given in-hospital setting--often small bolus and the as a slow drip in controlling acute diabetic ketoacidosis. Actually all Insulin can be given iv, but not recommended elsewhere besides hospital where you can be closely monitored. If you have concerns, consult doc. Good luck.
